Mark has spent the last several years commuting between New York City and Nashville, TN to co-write and learn from some of the best in the business including Pat Alger (Garth Brooks), Angela Kaset (Lorrie Morgan), Kirsti Manna (Blake Shelton),  Bonnie Baker (Reba McEntire), Anthony Krizan (Lenny Kravitz),  Coley McCabe (SheDaisy) and Jim McCormick (Luke Bryan)  to name a few.   As a songwriter, he has had over 50 songs recorded by various artists including the title track of Shannon Curfman's "Fast Lane Addiction" album that reached #8 on the Billboard Blues Charts.  Recently his song "Wait" recorded by Amber Hayes and released on her debut album "C'mon" reached the Top 40 on the Country Breakout Chart and Top 50 on the Billboard Indicator Chart.  Mark has been nominated for several awards and most recently won "Best Country Song" at the Independent Music Awards for his song "Country Living" recorded by Cooper Boone for his debut album which Mark also produced.  Mark also wrote the theme song for the DKMS Leukemia Foundation in NYC.   

Mark was selected as a full scholarship recipient to Skip Ewing's Horse and Writer Invitational where he was mentored by hit songwriters Skip Ewing, Chris Wallin, Deanna Bryant and Clay Mills.  He was also a finalist at the prestigious New York Songwriters Circle Awards at the Bitter End, NYC and has received awards from the Billboard Songwriting Contest and NSAI/CMT Songwriting Contest as well.
